Claude now has its own built-in browser in Cowork. When your task involves a website, a browser opens in Cowork’s side panel and Claude takes it from there: opening sites, reading pages, filling forms while you keep working. There's nothing to install. Claude's browser is built into the desktop app and stays separate from your own browser. Rolling out on the desktop app over the next week for all paid plans. If you already use Claude in Chrome, that still works: pick your default in Settings → Cowork → Preferred browser. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eZ6JPNuK

Claude Fable 5 can carry long, complex work on its own. Working with it resembles working with a highly capable colleague: you explain the situation, agree on what a strong final result looks like, and let your colleague work. Less of your time goes to checking each step, so more of it can go to deciding what the work should be. Read the full guide: https://lnkd.in/dGrESfKE

Claude now has one memory across chat and Claude Cowork, and you decide what's in it. Hand Cowork a task and it starts from what Claude already knows from your chats: the project you talked through, your manager's preferences, the client from last quarter. What comes up in Cowork carries back to chat. Everything Claude remembers is saved as a list of topics in Settings, where you can read, edit, or delete each one. Memory updates on its own as you chat, saving new details as they come up. You can also say "remember this" to save something specific. Topics some consider sensitive, like health or religious beliefs, stay out unless you turn them on in Memory settings. Memory is on by default on Free, Pro, and Max plans. For Team and Enterprise, admins control availability for their organization, and memory is off for individual users until they turn it on. Review yours in Settings > Memory. Tyson and Natasha are gardeners in Melbourne. Their studio, Gardener & Son, designs backyards around the indigenous plants that originally grew there. For most of history, a garden was a wall against the wild. Most gardens still follow that blueprint today. "They were built in front of the castles, to protect the castles from nature. Nature was scary." - Tyson By using hyper-local indigenous species that spent thousands of years adapting to their environment, Tyson and Natasha are creating gardens that bring back native wildlife. Between projects, they've built three public tools with Claude. Type in your address and Find My EVC identifies the Ecological Vegetation Class of your land. Find My Ecological Garden shows the specific plants that belong there. And The Ecological Registry gives gardens a public record and score. "I'll be digging holes with the laptop set up in the car, and Claude Code is running, putting hotspots on a map of where people are searching their ecological vegetation. I'll push a couple of buttons and go back to digging." - Tyson Gardens registered on The Ecological Registry get scored and earn badges. For many people, it's the first time they can see what their garden is doing for the world around it. With the tools they've built, Tyson and Natasha are growing their mission without leaving the garden.

Claude Security scans now run on Claude Mythos 5, available today in public beta for all Claude Enterprise customers. Put our most capable security model to work on your codebase. Point it at a GitHub repo and Mythos 5 scans your code, tracing data across files and reasoning about how components interact. Each finding comes back with a CWE category, confidence and severity ratings, and a suggested fix. You can then open Claude Code on the web to implement the fix using the models your team already uses. The model runs behind the scan and returns findings only, so defenders get Mythos-level results without needing direct access to the model. It's part of our work to give defenders greater access to Mythos-level defense as safely as we can. Alongside today's update: we’re working with partners to integrate Mythos 5 into their security products and services, our new Defender Advantage Fund provides $35M in Claude credits for open-source security, and we're expanding our Cyber Verification Program in the coming weeks.
