PyPI Verification Emails
Monitoring - Users of PyPI without a verified email address were sent an email with subject line "ACTION REQUIRED: Verify your PyPI email".

This effort is in order to improve the deliverability for emails sent by PyPI and ensure that we can reach maintainers of packages.

Completed - The scheduled maintenance has been completed.

Verifying - Maintenance is complete and we are verifying the new broker is operating as expected.

In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.

Scheduled - PyPI will be temporarily unavailable as we migrate our internal broker for asynchronous tasks. In order to ensure no tasks are discarded PyPI's web UI for project management, signups, password resets, email verifications, the XMLRPC API, and uploads will be temporarily disabled. Once all in progress tasks are complete, the new configuration will be applied and service will be restored.

Downloads, installs, and the JSON API will not be affected during this maintenance.

We anticipate this will take far less than the full maintenance window.
