Google is a California-based company that has utilized technology to make a comprehensive search engine and other products and services. Its stated mission is to organize the world‘s information and make it universally accessible and useful.
Product
The search engine uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to produce results after a user has entered a topic, phrase, or question. Users can filter results according to image, maps, news, videos, shopping, scholarly content, and more. The results that the users see are based on PageRank, which establishes an order to the websites relevant to the topic or question entered into the search engine. The order is based off of how many pages and the history of those pages which can be linked back to the original site.
Other Google products and services include Gmail, Google Docs, YouTube, Google Calendar, and ChromeBooks.
