      Well i have started your book. Heads not too good at the moment so can't stay concentrated for too long. Prologue grabbed me enough though and im about 8% though. So far i'm loving it.

    After watching a couple of trailers for upcoming Dark Souls style games recently, I couldn't help but think back to my 2012 article on health bars. I still hate them and wish more developers would consider switching them out for more realistic AI behaviour and animation.

    So it looks like the Faster than Light mod Infinite Space is pushing for a version 2, which means I'll finally get to finish writing my extra events, featuring the ever dastardly Fitch's Hydro.

    The downside is I actually have to write the ...thing.

    This is a great little read about why it shouldn't be called child porn, but child abuse. Raping kids has absolutely nothing to do with pornography, something that's legality is being thrown into contention thanks to its regular link with child abuse by the government.

    While I'm keeping details of the new book under wraps at the moment, as there's still a lot of it that isn't certain, I want to share with you guys a piece of concept art I've had done by the wonderful Owin Winn (http://www.owinnart.com/). ...

    The idea behind it was to give me a point of reference for a very pivotal scene that I'm soon set to write, which has the main characters attempting to take down a Great Ray. Yes it's flying and yes it's being chased and hunted from an airship.

    If you're a fan of the Alien movies, this upcoming game from Creative Assembly should peak your interest. Over the weekend I did a digital sitdown with community manager Nyan Nyugen who released a few more details about its development.
    We were able to grab hold of community manager for Alien: Isolation, Nee N, who talked us through a few aspects of the game that until now we didn’t know much about.     A new study just released has concluded that the NSA's mass surveillance of individuals inside and outside the US contributed to less than 6 per cent of all arrests related to preventing terrorism.

    That makes me feel so much better knowing... that employees probably spent more time spying on their spouses and playing world of warcraft (seriously) than they did on terrorists.

    Hey, it looks like the UK is finally getting a parody protection in its copyright law. You'd have thought this would already be in place, but nope, until April, it's still illegal to create a parody of someone else's film, advert, company or anything else without their permission.
