MENTION the words 'taxi driver' and the blood of many a Windhoek motorist starts to boil.
Many people need them, given the paucity of the capital's public transportation services, but more folk have an active dislike for these young men in taxis, generally slumped low in the driver's seat, arm dangling out of the window, who have a tendency to hoot incessantly, jump red lights and pick up or drop passengers in the most awkward and even illegal locations.
