The folding metal travel stand that weighs 96g from the same company is a must buy for travel. Do not be tricked into buying the leather folio. The folding stand weighs 1/10th and is more sturdy believe it or not
This is a classic luxury good. It is amazing at everything but at a steep price. I bought 2 and use them for work in my briefcase. Neither required any drivers or installations. Plug and play with 1 cable. The dream.

Great monitor very nice build quatily
Great montiors, they look great and are solid built. The kickstand is fair. Its all metal and i do like it but went with the other magnetic stand. Setting this montior up for my M4 Mini Mac was a headache. Windows was plug and play. So let me guide you for Mac OS. Connect an hdmi montior or TV. Download and install displaylink v1.10-3 Connect the flipgo montior via the Display link usbC. (The usbC 2 port) This will by default add 2 extra screens. Set those up as you want. Then press the ultraview button. A pop up will show and asking what to do when a TV is connected. Pick mirror display. Then you can disconnect the hdmi cable And now you can have dual monitors and press the button for ultra view.

I use both screens as 'extended'
I have been using for about 5 months now and had no issues.
One usb-c cable is connected to my MacBook Pro from the screens. (You do need to download 'Display Link' app for dual screens to work on a MacBook).
I can't comment on how durable it is for carrying it daily because I just had it setup in a room and never carried it around.. However, the screens folds nicely and flat. It can be carried In a book bag since the screen size is only 16 inches.
The hinges have the springs visible and don't seem very sturdy but they will do the job.
The main issue is the stand. The included stand is so poor. The monitor on the stand is unstable and will slip or fall out from the stand over time naturally or even with a slight movement of the cable. it's almost useless and that's why I had to purchase optional stand with the magnetic attachment for the monitor, but that optional stand is not portable. There goes the portability of the monitor.
I would have given it 5 stars if the company was able to include a functional stand that can be carried with the monitor.

Bought these monitors in Feb and they worked perfectly. Unfortunately, after the second use the screens developed streaked image quality that will not resolve (see pictures). Seller is completely unresponsive. Absolute waste of money. DO NOT BUY!!

Went for the pro model in the end as this is to sit in the middle of two other large 4k screens, previously I'd had a very small Asus portable monitor for on the go and the whole setup was a mismatch.
Its expensive of course but it just works, I use the displaylink cable and have 2 extra monitors at high resolution, there is no compromise . Great for plug and play and taking to construction site set ups for work, where there is often a lack of monitors available. Hopefully a problem of the past!
Only thing I'd change is for it to have a built in kickstand, which is a bit of an oversight and presumably an easy thing to build into an otherwise great design
