Dear Valued Guests and Partners,

Firstly, we want to express our appreciation to all who have reached out with concern about the well-being of our team and their families. We are pleased to report that everyone is safe and unharmed.

Beryl's path passed through St. Vincent and the Grenadines with minimal impact on the northern region. With more than sixty-five team members' homes in this area, life was able to return to normal relatively quickly. Retail stores opened, and the country's carnival was held on the 8th and 9th of July as scheduled, demonstrating the nation's resilience.

Unfortunately, fifteen current and more past team members with homes and families in Union, Mayreau, Petite Martinique, and Carriacou have been more seriously affected. These communities need support.

We have identified two organizations with domestic and international expertise in disaster relief: St. Vincent & the Grenadines Environment Fund (SVGEF), and Global Empowerment Mission (GEM). These organizations are now on the ground in Union, Petit Martinique, and the surrounding islands, actively meeting the basic needs of these communities. We have included in the links above information and a brief outline of each organization.

A sum of $50,000 has already been committed to the above organizations. A further $250,000 will be given to these organizations for relief work over the next three months as matched funding on all donations from friends of Petit St. Vincent to achieve a total goal of $550,000. You will find the wire transfer details in the attached organizational outlines.

Understandably, on Petit St. Vincent, the initial days following the hurricane focused on enabling the team to return to their homes to be with family when transport links from Union to St. Vincent became accessible. A core team stayed behind to restore power and water to the property and make the Team Village safe for the team to return to rebuild the island.

Our commitment to the island has been and always will be for the long term. We have now undertaken an initial assessment of the impact of the wind, sea, and rain damage to the island facilities using experienced international resources and the significant investment needed to restore, and conserve, so we will build back better.

From our locations in Florida, St. Vincent, and beyond, we are all working tirelessly to begin the work needed to open the resort and create unique guest experiences, employment for our team, and business for the many organizations we work with.

This said, with the current situation in the Southern Grenadines, manpower, and resource mobilization to our remote location, it will take several weeks before we are in a position to provide an update on a realistic and achievable reopening date. We hope to be open this season in some form but will share a date only when we have certainty to avoid disappointment.

In the current circumstances, we are offering guests with confirmed reservations for our 2024-2025 season the following possibilities to give certainty for your year ahead and important family plans;

· A full refund of deposits received for the upcoming season,

· Alternatively, hold the reservation until we can provide a realistic opening
  date and make your decision then.

We are deeply grateful for your support and understanding during this challenging time. We are available to address any questions.

With best regards,

Petit St. Vincent
