Kathakali

Kathakali is a classical dance from India. It is from Kerala in southwestern India. It is one of the nine classical dances of India. Its name comes from the Malayalam words Katha(story) and Kali(play).[1]
The dance is based on Indian epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. The dance is a combination of dance, drama, music, and acting. It is exclusively performed by men and boys.[2]
