Ronald Runaldo Venetiaan (June 18, 1936 November 5, 2025) was a Surinamese politician and mathematician. He served as the 6th and 8th President of Suriname. His first term as president ran from 1991 to 1996. In 2005 he was re-elected to serve a third term as president and sworn in on August 12, 2005.[1]

Venetiaan died on November 5, 2025 from a long-illness in Paramaribo, Suriname at the age of 89.[2]
