Sigma Xi has a distinguished history of more than a century of service to science and society. The Society's portfolio of programs and activities includes new initiatives in science and engineering education, research ethics, the public understanding of science and technology, international cooperation in science and engineering and the overall health of the research enterprise.

The financial support of Sigma Xi members and friends is vitally important to the work of the Society.
