Back from Germany, Insider reaches into our bag 'o reader mail.
I am an Insider and I looked for a site that would keep me in tune about gaming. I love IGN. When I wake up I boot up my PC and read great articles look at amazing pics or watch IGN Weekly. Keep it Up.

Thanks for the positive feedback, Taylor. It's true; IGN Insider will make your mornings more pleasant as well as improve the quality of life overall if you ingest the required daily doses. Scientific tests also have proven that reading original Insider content and watching IGN Weekly will make you more sexually active while stimulating the growth of lean muscle mass.

NBA 2K7 Brings the Noise and the Funk
This is the game you guys need to be putting out in the for front. With all the press and slacking EA has been up to lately, its good to see a game like this. Please contact VC, let them know you want more of these (vids showing all aspects of the game) to give to the fans. You ain't never seen a basketball game bring it like this before and I'm glad to see these out there in HD. IGN, keep it up.

NBA 2K7 is my co-most wanted sports game of the year along with FIFA 07 for 360. After the great job Virtual Concepts did with 2K6 for 360 last year, it looks like they're improving upon their strengths of amazingly fluid animations and solid AI. Anyone who is a fan of sports games in general should definitely pick up 2K7 when it hits stores next month.

Good morning. This is member name drop7ishere and I've been a gamer for years but I've never seen basketball look like this. The graphics and the fluidity of the various movements throughout play are amazing! Personally, I would like to see players play the game who know how to play so that we can have a better grasp of the new animations included in this year's version. In 2K6, there weren't a lot of dunk tips, block animations, shot variations, dribble moves or defense. It looks like everything is being taken care of nicely. I would like to see more dunking off of the rebound though. Oh and please...if you have more of these in the future could you play with two teams that have good enough players so that we can see all the additions on both sides of the court? How about a NBA 2K7 all star game all shown in that stunning Masterbit-HD!
Anyways, keep up the good work and have a good one!

We'll post a few more HD videos for 2K7 later this week, Brandon. I'll throw a quarter of the All-Star game in there for you too.

Guys, great job on the video, I can't thank you enough for having it CPU vs. CPU to have a better look at the AI. How about a west coast rivalry for the next one...Lakers vs. Clippers at the Staples center? Just a suggestion but keep up the good work fellas.
Zep.

We've received emails in the past about readers wishing we would let the CPU play out a game in our sports videos so you can see how the AI in plays out. Usually it's one of us in the office playing a preview build of the game without having much time to get used to new features or controls, so it feels like you're watching someone play who sucks at the game. We all know how painful that can be. Glad you enjoyed the videos Harris.

Two Sides of the Same Coin
I personally hate video features. I can't sit here at work watching and listening to a video. I can, however, read a written article that while also doing other things. So, I have a request. Whenever you do a video head-to-head could you please post written a written recap at some point? If I wanted to watch a video, I'd be sitting in front of my TV, not at my computer.
Thanks,
--Eric
I loved your Video H2H comparison of NCAA Football 07 on next-gen and current-gen platforms. I always read the text portions of the Head-to-Heads you guys do, but it's always better to actually see the graphical differences in motion. Definitely gives you a clearer idea of what to expect of the separate versions of the game, and these have helped me choose what system I buy games for. Keep them coming. I look forward to your Madden 07 H2H soon!
--Bobby
As you can see it's tough to please everyone all the time, but we futilely try to as often as possible. Rarely do we post a Video Head-to-Head with no text whatsoever, so I can say with confidence that you won't see too many in the future either, Eric.
You can expect to see the Madden 07 H2H most likely next Monday on Insider, Bobby. It will contain video and text, so everyone wins!
