For all manner of hint, cheat, code, hack, glitch, or easter egg submissions, you will want to be as thorough as possible. The following are the primary reasons code submissions are deleted:
- DELETE - Submission is written by an illiterate, dyslexic, inbred first-grade moron.
- DELETE - Submission uses "L33T" speak or net-speak to relay instructions.
- DELETE - Submission is not in English. Cheat submissions are not translated from other languages.
- DELETE - Submission is an unprovoked attack directed towards the editors, staff, or employees of IGN Entertainment.
- DELETE - Submission is an obviously fake code, cheat, or hint.
- DELETE - Submission is missing vital information, chiefly the game title and the game deck (or console).
- DELETE - Submission repeats a published cheat, code, hint, glitch, or easter egg on the IGN network.
IGN does its best to verify as many submissions as possible, we do not have every game ever made in a secret warehouse solely for codes-testing purposes. Don't forget karma has ways of coming back to get you -- pass off a bad cheat and you might find you get screwed one day because you got duped into taking on a bad code.
IGN appreciates Your cooperation in contributing and verifying the cheats you submit. Cheats and codes that fail to work are often the result of disgusting little pranksters with no future except as organ donors, service providers, and great military targets in large scale wars. Keep that in mind when World War III breaks out.
