THE INDIAN POLICE SERVICE (FIXATION OF CADRE STRENGTH) REGULATIONS, 1955
In pursuance of sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government in consultation with the Government of the States concerned hereby makes the following regulations, namely:
(1) These regulation may be called the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955.
(2) The posts borne on, and the strength and composition of the cadre of the Indian Police Service of the various States shall be as specified in the Schedule to these regulations.
