The
company's major creation to date is the epic, action-adventure
series Oban Star-Racers (26 half-hours). Main partners:
Jetix Europe; Bandai Visual; France 3; Super-RTL; Hal
Film Maker. TV Premiere: in France on France 3 in April
2006, in the USA on ABC Family and ToonDisney in June.
The series is currently airing successfully all across
Europe, Asia and America.
The result of a long development process and two and
a half years of intensive production in Tokyo and Paris,
Oban Star-Racers sets itself apart from other series
by the quality of its 2D/3D animation and its attention
to detail – carefully crafted designs, rich characters
and story – which are similar to those usually
found only in feature films.
OSR also marks a unique artistic collaboration between
Japan and Europe. STW’s artistic team have lived
and worked in Tokyo for more than 2 years, in perfect
osmosis with their Japanese partners.
Outside of TV series, STW produces animation commercials
such as the ones of the 2007 Nestlé-Milo campaign
in the Phillipines.
Other previous productions include a wide array of animated
works and short films including the award-winning Oban
Star-Racers pilot film: Molly, Star-Racer (winner of
a 2001 LEAF AWARD, nominated for Best Editing 2002 Imagina
AWards); the animated short film Squat which was selected
at more than 20 international festivals (Annecy, Anima
Mundi, NYUFR, VIFVF) or the short animated political
spoofs Droite Park and Les Barbacentristes for France's
top rated TV show Nulle Part Ailleurs. |
