One of the most popular board games of all time is without a doubt Monopoly. Originally created by the Parker Brothers, the game has since become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon with contests and other such things. Runecraft and Infoframes plan to bring all the excitement of the board game to Xbox later this year with Monopoly Party. Using a new system that allows players to take turns without waiting and gameplay modes supporting up to four-players the digital version seems to be living up to its cardboard ancestor. Monopoly Party will also make use of 3D-themed environments and new properties and tokens not present in the original.
