I have been dealing with forest trees for 20 years. Each tree here is important for me and I particularly admire the mightiest of them - oaks. I estimate the number of oaks with trunk circumference at the height of 130cm above 400cm to be 2 thousand. This Web site was created to document their growth, lasting, death and 'life after life' and as long as each of them, dead or alive, remains in its natural habitat - it has a history which will be diligently registered here (at the moment the database contains information concerning over 550 forest oaks).
