Classic build-your-own-monster and battle game from Electronic Arts. Players choose from 12 different monster types, then equip their creation with special features and weapons. To get better upgrades, players have to win money in Archon-style battles. Mail Order Monsters features three different difficulty settings, from the beginner level that gives you control of a pre-made monster to the tournament level that lets you own and battle with multiple monsters. Each monster features 11 different upgrades, from poisonous stings to fire breath. Released in 1985 for Commodore 64.
