Real-life NASCAR action has never been so thrilling, as the popular sport returns to the N64. The competition gets heated, as actual auto-racing announcers provide live commentary lending one of many realistic touches to this EA Sports game. Choose from 40 different NASCAR drivers--including Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Dale Jarrett and Tony Stewart or create your own completely original driver to compete against them. Each driver's car is replicated in perfect detail (right down to the decals), and each is configured exactly as it was for the 1999 season. The 18 licensed tracks including Sears Point, Atlanta Motor Speedway, and Michigan Speedway are all accurate replicas as well. Featuring smooth, solid controls, NASCAR 2000 also boasts some of the most incredible effects imaginable. You can make lots of modifications to your vehicle, and "NASCAR Options" allows you to make the action more or less realistic, depending on your preferences. If you enjoyed NASCAR '99, you'll love the updated stats and the extra track included in the 2000 edition.
