Music 4 Games Interviews Sean Murray  [ Comment ]
13:18 PST | mattpruitt | Print News | Category: COD: World at War
Our friends over at Music 4 Games have slapped up an interview with Call of Duty: World at War's composer, Sean Murray. Here's a snippet:
Working so closely with Treyarch, Murray was outfitted with an Xbox 360 dev kit so he could stay up-to-date on the game's progress and gain a much deeper familiarity with the project than the mere gameplay videos or concept art composers often have to work from.  "I worked very hard at making the music work sonically with the sound effect landscape," Murray also notes.  "I was always able to adjust the music mix to adapt to the particular guns and ambiences of each level."

IGN Reviews World at War Mobile  [ Comment ]
9:52 PST | mattpruitt | Print News | Category: COD: World at War
IGN UK has slapped up their review for the mobile version of Call of Duty: World at War. It didn't do very well, to say the least. Here's an excerpt:
Call of Duty: World at War is a serviceable adaptation of the console games. It has the theme down, but few of the thrills. What fun is just watching a bunch of stuff blow up? I want to be a part of it by doing more than walking to a set location and then pressing a button to trigger an event. I can really only recommend this to a hardcore Call of Duty fan. And even then, I'd advise them to think three times before downloading.
