Born in Beirut, Lebanon on September 2, 1964, Keanu Reeves is the son of a showgirl from England, and a Chinese-Hawaiian geologist. Keanu’s name, which he shares with a Hawaiian ancestor, means “cool breeze over the mountains.” Raised in Toronto, Canada, Reeves left for Hollywood in 1986 to begin his acting career.
