With yet another edition of the annual NBA Live Basketball series surfacing, the question is whether the change is worht the price tag. NBA Live 2001 embraces all of the action of the NBA, while featuring all of your favorite NBA stars and rookies. One major addition to this series is the motion captured technology of the new post game. Players can now perform numerous post moves including drop steps, baby hooks, turn-arounds, and fade aways. The game also features players and coaches who argue with officials, and also encourage other players. A unique rewards system that gives playrs an extra incentive to perform was also implemented. Game modes are close to past versions including Season, Exhibition, and a draft. NBA Live Challenge, 1 on 1 featuring Micheal Jordan, and practice mode are a few of the newer looking game modes.
