General Features
New characters can be unlocked as Haku makes his way through Ranking battles. The team begins at number fifty and each team that is ranked successively above Haku's can be battled. Each time a team is defeated, the winning team goes up one ranking position. This game can be played with up to four players using Game Boy Advance game link cables. The player can bring down his or her friends with multiple attack combinations and super moves during truly extreme battles. The key to remaining on the path to victory lies within learning to control the Tension Gauge while assisting Haku and his friends each step of the way. The different modes of play, Story mode and two different battle modes, only enhance the 2D action in this game. With the unique character buying feature and tournament fighter, the game truly puts the player in control of all the action. Players set the difficulty levels and time length in which battles are allowed to last. The battle cries of the fighters can also be personalized. While intense battle might not be suitable for all audiences, fans of the series are sure to be pleased.
