Financial Terrorism

Image
Here is an eye-opening report that pulls in all the dots on the widest imaginable canvass of global terrorism and shows how we are globally headed to a pre-industrial age under global control of handful of parasites which will prey upon us all.

Also see Ralph Schoenman and MI5's Annie Machon's videos to understand the extent of inside tracks on false-flag operations. It is a normal modus operandi. That is what is pertinent for Pakistan in particular today being the high value target.

Point to Ponder

What is it that Musharraf was doing and Zardari is not? Didn’t Zardari say: 1) He had no interest in becoming Prime Minister or President. 2) He will remove 58-2 on the first day of his president 3) We will get rid of 17th Amendment. And that 4) There is no deal with America. Why Musharraf had to go and Zardari to stay for perpetuating the same crimes which are surely leading to the demise of Pakistan as an independent state on the world map?

The Unfolding Story

Pakistan has been the high value target since 1970s, when Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto vowed that Pakistanis would eat grass but make sure it has a nuclear bomb. The CIA backed the so-called Islamic parties and launched a movement for implementation of Shari'ah in Pakistan. This led to the overthrow of Bhutto government and Zia's dictatorship which played a key role in the US-Jihad against the Soviet Union. Soon after the Soviet withdrawal, the eyes were focused on establishing a US satellite state in Afghanistan. For that reason, Taliban were groomed and put in power. When they failed to play the role expected of them, operation 9/11 was launched to establish bases in Afghanistan as a part of imploding Pakistan from within.

Since 2003 the war on Pakistan and the war within Pakistan is being gradually intensified in various ways, such as supporting tyrannical regimes, making them invade parts of their own country, helping the ISI establish local Abu Graib and Gruantanamos, training and sending terrorists from Afghanistan, launching attacks on Pakistan army through fake Taliban, supporting local 'jihad' against the puppet regime in Islamabad, false flag operations in India and Afghanistan and blaming those on Pakistan and of course the war drums in the media

The softening up of Pakistan is now reaching the final phases. All one needs to do is look at the history of this war on Pakistan to understand what is coming up and what could be done to peacefully resolve the situation and keep the powers at bay which are bent on balkanizing the region.

The Myth of Talibanistan

By Pepe Escobar
Apocalypse Now. Run for cover. The turbans are coming. This is the state of Pakistan today, according to the current hysteria disseminated by the Barack Obama administration and United States corporate media - from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to The New York Times. Even British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said on the record that Pakistani Talibanistan is a threat to the security of Britain. Read more »

Burn After Reading: Intel Dump Muddies Dirty War Waters

Chris Floyd

Throughout the long history of the Afghan War, the United States has never accused the Taliban of using white phosphorus weapons — until now. Suddenly, after the emergence of glaring evidence of Afghan civilians being seared and maimed by these chemical weapons following American airstrikes and combat operations, the Pentagon has released “classified information” claiming that the Taliban have actually been using white phosphorus weapons for six years, since 2003: a practice that the Pentagon — which has been using white phosphorus weapons in Afghanistan since 2002 if not before — denounced as “reprehensible.”This is very curious. The bipartistan managers of the Terror War have always been eager to trumpet — even exaggerate — the atrocities committed by the various armed groups opposing the imposition of foreign troops in Afghanistan. But now we are to believe that the Pentagon has been keeping evidence of the Taliban’s chemical weapons use — chem weapons! WMDs! — under wraps for years.

The “classified intelligence” was released in friendly territory: The Times (UK), owned by Fox News’ own Rupert Murdoch.

(By the way, isn’t it strange that super-duper top-secret material which would threaten the very existence of the United States and its way of life if it were divulged to, say, lawyers for torture victims or members of the public who’ve been illegally spied upon, can always be released when there are PR gains to be made? Why, it almost makes you think that

Arthur Silber might be right when he tell us that “the ’secret’ knowledge, which goes by the viciously misnamed designation ‘intelligence’ …  is almost always wrong… and is primarily used as propaganda, to provide alleged justification to a public that still remains disturbingly gullible and pliable — and it is used after the fact, to justify decisions that have already been made.”Could that really be true? Would they really, you know, just lie and exaggerate and make things up? Read more…

What Is the United States Preparing In Pakistan?

Keith Jones

….Then there is the extraordinary lead article in yesterday’s New York Times, headlined “Pakistan Strife Raises US Doubts on Nuclear Arms.” Written by the newspaper’s White House correspondent, David Sanger, the article has all the markings of a CIA or Pentagon put-up job, concocted with the aim of manipulating public opinion and justifying a major escalation of the US political and military intervention in Pakistan.

The article is based entirely on the statements of unnamed “senior American officials.” It claims, notwithstanding Obama’s statement of last week affirming confidence in the Pakistani military’s control of the country’s nuclear arsenal, that there is a real and growing threat that Taliban or Al Qaeda operatives could snatch a Pakistani nuclear weapon or infiltrate its nuclear facilities.

To explain how the Islamicists could circumvent the elaborate controls the Pakistani military, with US assistance, has placed over its nuclear arsenal, the article advances a thriller-type scenario. Islamicists would first trigger a confrontation between India and Pakistan, then seize a weapon when Pakistan seeks to move it closer to the border with its eastern neighbor.

The Times, it should be recalled, played a major role in seeking to mobilize US public opinion behind the invasion of Iraq. Front and center in this campaign was the lie that the Iraqi government was in league with Al Qaeda and might give them access to nuclear weapons Saddam Hussein was supposedly developing. Read more

Obama’s First 100 Days: The Madmen Did Well

John Pilger
In his first 100 days, Obama has excused torture, opposed habeas corpus, and demanded more secret government. He has kept Bush’s gulag intact and at least 17,000 prisoners beyond the reach of justice. On April 24, his lawyers won an appeal that ruled Guantanamo prisoners were not “persons” and therefore had no right not to be tortured. His national intelligence director, Adm. Dennis Blair, says he believes torture works. One of his senior officials in Latin America is accused of covering up the torture of an American nun in Guatemala; another is a Pinochet apologist. As Daniel Ellsberg has pointed out, America experienced a military coup under Bush, whose secretary of “defense,” Robert Gates, along with the same warmaking officials, have been retained by Obama.

All over the world, America’s violent assault on innocent people, directly or by agents, has been stepped up. Read more…

U.S. experts: Pakistan on course to become Islamist state

A growing number of U.S. intelligence, defense and diplomatic officials have concluded that there’s little hope of preventing nuclear-armed Pakistan from disintegrating into fiefdoms controlled by Islamist warlords and terrorists, posing a greater threat to the U.S. than Afghanistan’s terrorist haven did before 9/11.

“It’s a disaster in the making on the scale of the Iranian revolution,” said a U.S. intelligence official with long experience in Pakistan who requested anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to speak publicly.

Pakistan’s fragmentation into warlord-run fiefdoms that host al Qaida and other terrorist groups would have grave implications for the security of its nuclear arsenal; for the U.S.-led effort to pacify Afghanistan; and for the security of India, the nearby oil-rich Persian Gulf and Central Asia, the U.S. and its allies.

“Pakistan has 173 million people and 100 nuclear weapons, an army which is bigger than the American army, and the headquarters of al Qaida sitting in two-thirds of the country which the government does not control,” said David Kilcullen, a retired Australian army officer, a former State Department adviser and a counterinsurgency consultant to the Obama administration. [continued…]

These “intelligence” “experts” - the propaganda specialists, would never say that this is the direct result of systematically planned intelligence operations by the CIA, Mossad and RAW. Without bringing Pakistan to this stage, how else could they justify full scale intervention. Seems the road has been perfectly paved to lauch the next phase of the totalitarian adventures which were planned long before operation 9/11 and long before the pre-9/11-planned war on Afghanistan.

Israel Wants Americans to Think that Iran is a Danger to the US As Well As to Israel

Intel Report: Iran Will Use Latin America to Attack US, Israel

by Malkah Fleisher

(IsraelNN.com) Just two days after US President Barack Hussein Obama shared a controversial and landmark handshake with Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez at the Summit of the Americas, the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center has released a study analyzing the flowering alliance between the increasingly anti-Western Latin America and the virulently anti-Israel Iran.

The study was conducted at the Israel Intelligence Heritage & Commemoration Center (IICC), a non-governmental organization dedicated to Israeli intelligence and terrorism issues. Read more »

The making of the terror myth

Andy Beckett
The Guardian, Friday 15 October 2004
Since September 11 Britain has been warned of the ‘inevitability’ of catastrophic terrorist attack. But has the danger been exaggerated? A major new TV documentary claims that the perceived threat is a politically driven fantasy - and al-Qaida a dark illusion. Andy Beckett reports.

Obama rejects the clash of civilizations

For the neoconservatives who steered US foreign policy after 9/11, Mr Huntington’s views were regarded as prophetic. While the Bush administration insisted that its war on terrorism should not be seen as a war against Islam, for proponents of a the clash-of-civilizations view of history that distinction was often seen as nothing more than a matter of political correctness. As recently as last month, the former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice conceded, “we were never able to make clear that it was not a war against Islam”.

Without mentioning Mr Huntington or the expression “clash of civilizations”, Barack Obama went to Turkey, “a place where civilizations meet, and different peoples come together” and declared on Monday: “This is not where East and West divide - this is where they come together.” [continued…]

Obama is not bigger than his rhetoric. By now we know that Obama cannot back up his words with action, particularly when it comes to wars of aggression and the neo-cons philosophy of considering Muslims as enemies and pomoting “a war within Islam.”

Even in his latest speech, Obama re-emphasised his commitment to using ‘good’ Muslims agains’ the ‘bad’ one. If you hear the same kind of commitment to divide and pit some non-Muslims against the rest from the mouth of a Muslim leader and you will find the whole embeded media going wild as accusation of promoting violence, supporting terrorism, and spreading radicalism.

Once again Obama’s speech was well-crafted and deceptive. Even in his rhetoric he could not hide his true agenda of promoting divisions against Muslims. He said: “Our partnership with the Muslim world is critical, not just in rolling back the violent ideologies that people of all faiths reject but also to strengthen opportunity for all its people.”

This was an action replay of what he said in Berlin. Who is the judge of terrorism and violence in the world? After killing 1.320.110 in Iraq alone on the basis of nothing but lies, how can Obama blame others to violent ideologies? And who is actually behind the so presented Muslim terrorism? These are serious questions. Without seriously and impartially analysing related facts, it is insane to blame Muslims for “violent ideologies” and telling Muslims that others will support them in eradicating terrorists among them. The right approach would be to stop producing terrorists - real reactionaries and fake terrorists trained and supported by the US, UK. Israeli and Indian intelligence agencies.

However, there is no hope that Obama will be any degree better than Bush for the world peace. Here is a quick overview of Obama’s progress so far. He was mum over the Gaza massacre. A certified hate-monger like  Geert Wilders is free to tour the United States is freely promoting Islamophobia, while Obama administration lawyers are in court defending a Bush administration ruling and the highly respected European Islamic scholar, Tariq Ramadan, be denied entry into this country.

Déjà vu All Over Again

The so-propagated leader of the Pakistan Taliban, Baitullah Mahsud, again threatened on Tuesday to strike at Washington DC. Let us not forget that Pakistan authorities are on the record complaining about the US forces not taking action against this person despite Pakistan mercenary army’s providing them with accurate coordinates.

Remember the time before 9/11? Osama was also made to make a string of such threats for some time. The CIA patsies visiting him in Afghanistan were telling him that they were about to attack targets in the US.

FBI still says it has no evidence agaisnt Osama’s involvment in 9/11. And interestingly, about Baitullah Mehsud, the FBI also said that it had not evidence for any imminent terrorist attack. Even if we agree with the propaganda blitz that is in full motion against Pakistan as it was against Afghanistan prior to 9/11, one wonders what practical ability rural landlocked, desperately poor Pashtun tribesmen have to touch the United States. The same question applies to Arabs in Afghanistan prior to 9/11. The Taliban had confiscated their communication equipment and they couldn’t even communicate between Qandahar and Kabul and we are told they planned the sophisticated operations of 9/11 and magically made even World Trade Centre 7 collapse  without any direct hit by a plane, a missile or a bomb at all.

Call them miracles of our age if you can’t dare call a spade a spade. Consider these miracles of those who directly speak to God and who claim to have attacked Iraq on the direct word from God.

In yet another terrorist strike on Pakistan, a US predator drone strike on village in Orakzai killed 10 persons on Wednesday morning. The US maintains that it struck at a Taliban compound. See the use of “compound” and drone strike is taking the human element out of the equation. The distance between the attackers and their victims make the aggressors more gruesome and barbaric. They don’t see their victims, their faces, their blood and mutilated bodies. Above all, no one asks why can’t the US drones hit Baitullah? Or he is there to facilitate the next war of aggression?

‘War on Terror’ is not about ‘Islamofascism’ – Please get with the real agenda you people!

there is an adequate statistical sampling of terrorists and criminals in every ethnic group in America, including the majority, their most infamous one being Tim McVeigh. What about Alqaeeda, maybe some of them are really hiding in the mosque? If they were, the government would know exactly who they are and what their phone number and SS numbers is, because remember they trained them. The testimony provided by an ex. US official of the US embassy in Riyadh Saudi Arabia is quite telling. I heard him on Pacifica, describing how he was a visa officer and he would get these strange type of people applying for US visas in Saudi Arabia, from all different parts of the Arab world. Upon being asked the usual questions why they wanted to visit America, they would say strange things like: to attend a technical conference, and upon further inquiry have no clue about that subject area. So he would reject their visa application. Having rejected one too many visas, he was called up before his superiors and told to give out the visas regardless! So he issued the same people US visas the next time they visited, after already having rejected them the first time as dubious customers! Later he figured out these were the CIA operatives recruited from around the world and trained in the US for various “freedom fighting” activities. Their identities, mug shots, finger prints, dental profiles, DNA profiles, urine samples etc. are probably all on record with the government. It was reported that the CIA/FBI even had an informant working within the inner circles of the hijackers of 9/11 for what that’s worth. Suffice it to say, the government is not really looking for terrorists in the mosques any more than they are looking for them in synagogues, or churches, or temples. more….

Zardari gets 24-hr ultimatum to end deadlock

Times of India reports that Pakistan army and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have asked President Asif Ali Zardari to go if he does not accept a new deal hatched by them in consultation with foreign powers.

The new political deal, backed by Washington, London and the army establishment, has quietly been conveyed to Pakistan PM Gilani, to bring down the political temperature in the country.

Read the rest of the report below. However, only fools would believe that the US, UK and General Kiyani are interested in democracy, rule of law and supremacy of the constitution and parliament in Pakistan. stay tuned for the next military take over or an arrangement where everyone would say, ‘even Zardari was better than this.’ The reason is that whatever arrangement is in the making, it is definitely not for giving Pakistanis the right to self-determination and self-rule. The new plan would be to further the plans for continuing the process of undermining Pakistan more effectively, with more justification and more convenience. Zardari regime was an interim set from the get go. The ideal outcome for the warlords in Washington is a military general ruling the country and waging the war of terrorism on Pakistan. Musharraf couldn’t stay longer. Kiyani could not take over right away. Benazir had to be assassinated to increased polarization and turmoil. NRO had to be crafted to let all the enemies of Pakistan get a lease on life and reach the vital positions in the state apparatus. Zardari was a good pick but his criminal past, thuggish attitude and total lack of acceptance at all levels made life difficult for the puppet masters. Now stay tuned for a yet more bloody chapter of the colonial intervention in Pakistan.

Myth of American Foreign Policy

….The leading myth of all, the one which entraps more Americans than any other, is the belief that the United States, in its foreign policy, means well. American leaders may make mistakes, they may blunder, they may lie, they may even on the odd occasion cause more harm than good, but they do mean well. Their intentions are honorable, if not divinely inspired. Of that most Americans are certain. And as long as a person clings to that belief, it’s rather unlikely that s/he will become seriously doubtful and critical of the official stories.

It takes a lot of repetition while an American is growing up to inculcate this message into their young consciousness, and lots more repetition later on. -From Hell hath no fury like an imperialist scorned by William Blum

War Crimes and Double Standards

by Robert Parry

….By all accounts, Kristof is a well-meaning journalist who travels to dangerous parts of the world, like Darfur, to report on human rights crimes. However, he also could be a case study of what’s wrong with American journalism.

While Kristof writes movingly about atrocities that can be blamed on Third World despots like Bashir, he won’t hold U.S. officials to the same standards. Read more…

Majorities of Muslims Polled Support ‘Al Qaeda’s Goal’ But Not Terrorist Methods

Muslim Publics Oppose Al Qaeda’s Terrorism But Agree With Its Goal of Driving US Forces Out

Support for Including Islamist Groups in Elections

March 03, 2009 “World Public Opinion” A study of public opinion in predominantly Muslim countries reveals that very large majorities continue to renounce the use of attacks on civilians as a means of pursuing political goals. At the same time large majorities agree with al Qaeda’s goal of pushing the United States to remove its military forces from all Muslim countries and substantial numbers, in some cases majorities, approve of attacks on US troops in Muslim countries. Half-stories

Israel again vows ’severe’ answer to Gaza rocket fire. See if you can find any mention in this AFP article of what Israel’s idea of a “ceasefire” actually is - how it seems to involve continuing to shoot at fishermen trying to fish and farmers trying to harvest crops and the internationals accompanying them, the very things the rocket fire itself may be a response to. The only mention, at the end, is the oh so fair and balanced “Both Israel and Hamas have violated the tenuous ceasefires”.

They don’t dare say Israel never actually ceased fire (just eased off a bit). They don’t dare say Israel continues to target children. They don’t dare say anything even mildly against Israel without condemning Israel’s victims equally for any attempts at resistance, at self-defense, at survival. Shame on them for not caring, for not daring, for not at least doing their job properly. Do they support Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing or are they afraid of Israel’s bullying themselves? Either way, it’s still a shame.

When inanity and deliberate blindness make every house in tribal areas a legitimate target

Here is the dumbest analysis I have ever seen: [pdf] Gillespie et al. Finding Osama Bin Laden : An application of biogeographic theories and satellite imagery. MIT International Review. Feb 17, 2009.

Professors Gillespie et al. while writing in MIT International Review have not only identified Parachinar, the town where Osama Bin Laden may have been hiding, but they have also pinpointed the three buildings that they think are likely to be Bin Laden’s hideouts in a Shiite majority town in the entire tribal region of Pakistan.

According to their witless analysis every structure in the tribal areas is a legitimate target, particlularly those which has these characteristics: Tall building; Electric grid hookup or generator; Walls over three meters high; Space between structures; More than three rooms; Trees for cover when outside. Doesn’t this criteria makes every structure a legitimate target?

As the world is turning upside down with the possible collapse of the existing economic order; when millions are dying of aids; genocides; occupations; starvation and other diseases, the MIT authors still believe like their new president that locating Osama is “one of the most important political questions of our time.” Even if Osama Bin Laden is found, what answers could he provide that would make the world become a better place? Even if he is found guilty of 9/11 (3000 victims), what difference that would make when the architects of Iraq war are living honorably after lying through their teeth fo justify the war that has taken lives of 1,311,696 Iraqis and at least 4208 more Americans?

Terrorists have found ‘haven’ in Pakistan: Hillary Clinton

Sellouts in partnership with liars of the century

But after Pakistan’s complaints were repeatedly rebuffed by the U.S. and with the Taliban making gains against the Pakistani military and the police, these officials say President Asif Ali Zardari and top military leaders decided in recent months to aid the American effort in the hopes it will help them regain control over the tribal areas. The Taliban and al Qaeda have flourished in those areas bordering Afghanistan since 2001. The cooperation also could prove as a counterbalance to U.S. displeasure over a peace deal announced Monday with a Taliban faction in Swat Valley. [continued…]
