"We'll definitely be looking at a lot of titles that have things like Street Fighter and Resident Evil in the title," Kramer said. "We're thinking about putting together a long list of the titles we're looking at, and then releasing it on Capcom Unity and having people vote on them. Ultimately we're looking at bringing between 20 and 40 titles to the PSN over the next several months."Since there is no Resident Evil game on the PSP, it is fairly obvious that means that we'll see classic PS1 games like RE1, 2, and 3 on the PlayStation Network. Especially since they've already been released on the Japanese PSN.
The camera was the first thing that we worked on. The viewpoint of a person who is surrounded by horror and wrapped in tension is not steady like a movie camera, but rather moves quite violently. In order to convey that tension and sense of presence more effectively, in certain places we used a camera that really moves as if it were attached to a person’s face. The last few RE games have sort of removed the horror aspect from the series, so it is really interesting to see Darkside Chronicles go back to this. Even though it is an on-rails shooter, the game seems to go back to the series' roots.
