AN Aer Lingus worker and local councillor says that the compulsory redundancies and 1,000 job losses threatened at Aer Lingus will 'not be tolerated' by its workers. Cll Clare Daly (SP) works for the airline and is a shop steward for SIPTU at Aer Lingus. She has condemned Aer Lingus management for breaking negotiations with the unions and unleashing what she called, 'the decimation of the airline, through the axing of routes and initiation of compulsory redundancies'.
