Abduction defiance
A teacher and an assistant were on duty diagonally opposite where an attempt was made to abduct a five-year- old boy from North Cottesloe Primary School this week.
The school is determined that it will carry on as normal, unaffected by Tuesday’s creep scare.
School principal Wayne Press said the pre-primary student was playing in the fenced playground, filled with colourful slides and climbing equipment.
Geoff Fisher honours his life-saver
This striking underwater portrait of Robert Larbalestier holds a special significance for Subiaco photographer Geoff Fisher.
Robert saved Geoff’s life after his heart stopped in the pool at Challenge Stadium in June.
“It’s not a very kind photo of Robert. He will probably never talk to me again,” Geoff said.
