I still drop quarters into Battlezone cabinets whenever I see one, so it should be little surprise that I totally dig Vector Tanks Extreme. As a retrohead, the classic vectors are a visual treat, especially because they have been amped up with additional special effects like blooming. The controls are easy to pick-up, rage mode is a gas, and the voice work is great fun. If you have even a fleeting fond memory of Battlezone, Vector Tanks Extreme should be on your short list of downloads… and likely somewhere near the top.
