Glendalough in running for World Heritage List

PADDY POWER has yet again proved that you can make a wager of almost anything with odds on which historic Irish landmark site will be added to the World Heritage List when the UNESCO committee meets this July.

Clean bill of health

WICKLOW'S FOOTBALLERS appear to have relatively few injury worries as they enter the final phase of preparations for their Leinster championship opener on May 16. Jacko Dalton and Ciar�n Hyland are reported to be recovering from minor injuries but those apart the squad appears to be in good health for this joust with neighbours and arch-rivals Carlow.
