LucasArts president Darrell Rodriguez -- originally appointed to the position in April 2008 -- is officially out the door, and according to Kotaku's report, he's taken a chunk of the executive staff with him (though LucasArts' representatives tell us this particular bit just ain't true). Lucasfilm's Jerry Bowerman (a member of the company's board of directors) is steering the ship while LucasArts fishes for a replacement. Read More »
OK, I think everyone can agree Rockstar should just go ahead and release Red Dead Redemption right now, as it's obvious (to anyone who watches this trailer) that the game is as ready as it'll ever be. It's nice to get a bit of a glimpse into the story, looks like there should be plenty of over-the-top characters a la GTA. Head inside to start the revolution. See More »
The headlines, filled with accusations and lawsuits, indicate troubling times. But when it comes to the bottom line, Activision is doing just fine, thank you very much. The mega publisher announced its quarterly results today, highlighted by a 33% sales surge. Read More »
Electronic Arts is promising an authentic look at the war in Afghanistan in its Medal of Honor reboot, and judging by the Leave a Message trailer, being authentic means more than just digital weapons and gear modeled after the real thing. But in the new Digital Deluxe Edition of Sid Meier's Civilization V, deluxe means what it should: more game. Read More »

We've seen Super Mario Galaxy 2 a few times now, yet Nintendo is still keeping their plans for the game's co-op component under wraps. While we're guessing they're going to stick with the last game's "girlfriend" mode, the fact that they released a new trailer featuring our old friend Luigi makes us long for a full-fledged co-op mode with the two brothers. Click through to see "the green one" in action. See More »
On February 9, Ubisoft released its disappointing fiscal third quarter results and reported the first nine months of the fiscal year yielded a 22% drop in total sales.
