LFW – Louise Gray

The audience was transported into Louise Gray’s eccentric world of design (complete with dry ice) today when she presented her latest collection at the On/Off Show-space.
Patchwork bloomers, head harnesses strapped with inflatable rings and balls, heeled polka dot and metallic wellies and multi-coloured miss-matched prints made for a suitably surreal collection.

LFW – House of Holland

The invites were printed on bingo cards, the after-show party invites are bingo pens, so it’s no guessing what the House of Holland’s collection was to be based on, and it was done in the designer’s usual tongue-in-cheek humour.

Cricket World Cup: Have England turned a corner?

It seems like only yesterday that England were once again demolished by a ruthless and vengeful Australia by six wins to one, the same scoreline that Andrew Flintoff’s side suffered four years ago. A complete reshuffle of the line-up, players returning from injury and trials for fringe players seems to have given the side a healthier, more invigorated look.

Thank you to garlick47.
Number 511 was asked yesterday by Toby Harnden of the Telegraph:
Will Osama bin Laden end up at Guantanamo Bay?
