Direct Debit Details

Direct Debits can now be set up on-line or over the telephone in addition to the original postal method. In order to set up your Direct Debit Instruction on-line you will need to provide the following information through the setting up procedure (your cheque book or bank statement contains all the bank details that you require):

• Bank or building society name and account number, sort code and branch address.
• If you are not the account holder, please contact us on 0800 028 1239 to request a paper Direct Debit Instruction for completion.
• Please note that it takes approximately 10-20 days to load a Direct Debit with the bank and thus in some cases the initial £4 will be debited along with your first monthly payment.

If your account is a business account and more than one person is required to authorize debits on this account, please contact us on 0800 028 1239 to request a paper Direct Debit Instruction for completion.

Payments are monthly in advance with a credit for any holidays or undelivered copies. We will send you a statement of your account 3-4 days before the payment allowing you to see the charges to your account. You will be sent a payment plan confirmation in the post upon completion of this form.

All the normal Direct Debit safeguards and guarantees apply. No changes in the amount, date or frequency to be debited can be made without notifying you at least 3 working days in advance of your account being debited. In the event of any error, you are entitled to an immediate refund from your bank or building society.

You have the right to cancel a Direct Debit Instruction at any time simply by writing to your bank or building society, with a copy to us.
