MEPI in Libya: Supporting Growth in Civil Society and the Private Sector
With the renewal of U.S. – Libyan diplomatic ties, MEPI has an important role to play in outreach to Libyan citizens and supporting emerging reform efforts in the country. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), universities, and the business community provide the greatest opportunities for new MEPI projects. MEPI focuses its efforts in Libya on entities that are eager to engage in the areas of education reform, commercial law development, trade capacity-building, and banking and financial improvements.
