AVIATION HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS : THUNDERSTORM
The onset of rainy season is usually characterized by severe thunderstorm and line squall with their attendant turbulence, microbursts and low level wind shear. Such weather conditions are known to be deadly for aircraft on approch or departure from an airport and have been reponsible for a number of fatal aircraft accidents in the world and in our country, Nigeria.
