There couldn't be two more different styles of 20th-century style -- capitalist and communist. For the communists, capitalist fashions were decadent, bourgeoise, wasteful, and class-based. For the capitalist, communist fashions were something that might have appealed to your half-blind great-grandmother. But in hindsight, with the end of the Cold War, were they really that different?
