I came out of BAcC after 20 years, because I felt the subscriptions were over priced, apart from whi...ch I never seemed to get new enquiries via BaC. I think it was compared to Osteopath Register. However that body succeeded in getting State registration, so no one apart from the register can claim to be an Osteopath. Acupuncture failed to do the same.
The majority of BaC's spending was on wages. However when I asked how much the CEO of the time got paid, I was told that is not for disclosure.Why the secret?
What's more I felt some CEO's only came to make a name for themselves before moving to bigger things. One of them changed the logo for no (in my opinion) reason. That would cost thousands of £'s to implement. Anyway I am now happily registered with the FHT. I pay 1/6 of the subs I did with BaC, and they produce a much better magazine. Ещё

@TheBAcC has been working with @AnxietyUK to gather anxiety outcomes data from patients having acupuncture treatments. Preliminary results on 30 patients show effectiveness at least as good as with psychological therapies.
