October 3, 2014 is National Manufacturing Day, a day to celebrate manufacturing and the contributions manufacturers make to the U.S. economy and the variety of careers they make possible. American manufacturing is currently growing at twice the rate of GDP, and American companies ship manufactured goods around the world.
