Quest University Canada is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, secular university. Quest offers only one degree, a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences, and focuses entirely on excellence in undergraduate education.

ACCREDITATION
• Founded in 2002 by former University
of British Columbia president Dr. David Strangway
• Opened with a 73-student inaugural class on September 3, 2007

• Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (4-year program)
• Maximum 20 students in a class; average class size is 16
• Courses scheduled on a "Block Plan" where students take one course at a time for three-and-a-half weeks
• All small, interactive, seminar-style classes, in which faculty lead students through discussions and activities
• 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio
• Each student has a faculty advisor all four years
• 2-year Foundation Program introduces students to fields across the arts and sciences
• 2-year upper-level Concentration Program requires students to design their own majors with faculty input and guidance
• All students engage in experiential learning off-campus

• Scholarships range from $2,000/year to full tuition for all four years
• All students (Canadian and international) are equally eligible for scholarships and bursaries; all fees are the same independent of country of origin
• Canadian students are eligible for all federal and provincial student aid programs
• Quest is a United States Department of Education Title IV-approved institution giving US students access to federal student aid funding through the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program. This program includes Direct Subsidized and Direct Unsubsidized loans as well as Direct PLUS loans for parents of dependent students.
• Tuition cost: $30,000 CAD per year
• Room and board fees start from approximately $10,000
• The majority of current students receive some form of scholarship or financial bursary
• 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom residences, many with living room, kitchenette or full kitchens, and balconies
• Both private and shared bedrooms available
• 24-hour access to study spaces, common lounge, and laundry facilities
• Free access to fitness facilities including gym, fitness room, squash courts, and playing field
• Wireless internet available throughout campus and student residences
• Approved by the Degree Quality Assessment Board (DQAB) under the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education, following a rigorous review of policies and programs
• Registered as a British Columbia Education Quality Assurance (EQA) post-secondary institution. The EQA is a designation that identifies BC public and private post-secondary institutions that have met or exceeded provincial government-recognized quality assurance standards and offer consumer protection.
• Authority to grant degrees from the Sea to Sky University (SSU) Act passed in 2002 and ratified regularly by the Ministry of Advanced Education
• Approved by the US Department of Education for student loan and veterans programs
