Why are Chromeboxes excluded?
new update broke the display scaling AGAIN!! for people using 125% scaling at OS level. WTF!!!
Advanced options have disappeared from Settings!!
Also, doesn't show OS version anymore,
nor option to check/update - ( chrome://help will still show the version though. - Google trying to hide even more settings from users?)
No, it isn't hidden. You can find it below in the settings if you scroll down to the bottom.

Samsung Chromebook (ARM) is also not updating, when i manually check for updates it tells me i am up to date. First time it hasn't updated on release day when i manually check.
I'm still stuck on version 36 from the beginning of August on my c710. It says that my device is "up to date." Any ideas?
Not seeing the update when I manually check on HP Chromebook 14.
it's not true, according to omaha proxy every chromebook is still at 37 http://cros-omahaproxy.appspot.com/
problems with Armenian language
My Samsung ARM Chromebook is not updating, Have tried forcing update yet has been two days since the update has been released and it still wont update.
There are font rendering issues in Armenian and Georgian.
Under version 38.0.2125.101, the contextual analysis of Arabic language and Persian are not working.... i.e., all letters are not connected....
is there a fix?
I wonder if the release was stopped due to bugs?
My Samsung ARM 303 Chromebook updated to stable 38 today. Anyone else that hasn't been able to update try checking today as it finally updated for me today.
My Samsung ARM also updated. So wait and check again later.
Earlier this week I posted that My Samsung ARM won't update - It has now happily updated!
This is all very good, but have two things that Google CHrome need with urgently: A password to protect data saved login and to prevent other sites from changing the main page and priorities navigation user's.
The Mozilla have this password more only protect the data saved login, so it is incomplete too.
Performed update, now my Chromebook will not let me login. Says my password is incorrect.
I then used my MacBook to login to gmail without any problem to prove my password did not change.
No matter how many times I enter my password correctly into my C710 Chromebook, it will not login. I can login to my mother's account on the Chromebook, just not mine.
My account worked fine before the update.
For what it is worth, I do not use the 2 step verification when signing into a google account.
Did you guys finally fix the bug were Chrome was draining Laptop Battery ?
After this update I can no longer see line numbers for css rules in Developer Tools. This is something i use constantly and is pretty annoying. Any information on the problem?
c710 reset your chromebook if other account is not a admin (if you cant delete your account)

not updating issues RAM may be an issue (put 4GB in my chromebook did but it not like it was preventing update, also crashing when trying to update) HDD can also prevent update if its got bad sectors
is there a way to do a test ram in chromeOS
----- small complaint when i logged into this chromebook (it was on 23 chrome at the time) it wiped all my saved wifi list of my phones which is slightly annoying especially the hard to get wifi passwords -----
Awesome, thanks for MTP!
Please keep new features coming.
