Dev Channel Update for Chrome OS

The Dev channel has been updated to 31.0.1626.3 (platform version: 4670.0.0) for all Chrome OS devices. This release contains several improvements and bug fixes.

Known Issues:
  • File app fails after opening a file (284690). Workaround: Killing File app resolves the issue.
If you find new issues, please let us know by visiting our forum or filing a bug. Interested in switching channels? Find out how. You can submit feedback using ‘Report an issue...’ in the Chrome menu (3 horizontal bars in the upper right corner of the browser).

Also noticed a very welcome change indeed: the app launcher menu is now in the bottom left corner of the screen, a move that's sure to attract unhappy Windows 8 users...

Tried to perform the update several times but it crashed each time. Not sure why?
