In recent years cellular telephones have become an increasingly popular U.S. import. This is illustrated in October's graph, showing the growth in imports of cellular telephones from 2007 to the present. In that period the value of global imports (totals here are for the first ten months of each year) have risen from $19.3 billion in 2007 to $39.2 billion in 2014. Also shown is China, the largest source of cellular telephones to the U.S. market.
