Can't Chrome have the basic customization to allow autohide of the address bar?

And natively allow putting the tab bar at the side?

These are very basic customizations, and would be really useful when using good docs / spreadsheets etc because these programs have its own menus and toolbars, taking really a lot screen asset, making the experience quite clumsy.

These are really simple feature but really useful, highly benefit with minimunm efforts, and my reserach shows there's high demand from real users as well - just don't understand why Google is NOT listening.

Two main issues started right after this update was applied.

1 - Random reboots about twice a day. No intense CPU load or high storage usage.

2 - Stable internet connection randomly drops about 2-3 times per hour for a minute. No issues on any other devices.

I'm trying to update to Chrome 40.0 on the "About Chrome" screen, but keeps giving me the "Almost up-to-date" message every time I hit the "Relaunch" button. I presume this issue/bug will be fixed soon?
