Chrome for Android Update

The Chrome Team is excited to announce the stable release of Chrome 35 for Android. Chrome 35.0.1916.122 will be available in Google Play over the next few hours. This release contains a number of new features including:
  • Undo Tab Close
  • Fullscreen video with Subtitles and HTML5 controls
  • Support for some multi-window devices

Chrome for Android Update

Chrome for Android has been updated to 33.0.1750.166 and will be available in Google Play over the next few days. This update includes bugs we received from security researchers attending CanSecWest 2014:
  • [351787] High CVE-2014-1705: Memory corruption in V8. Credit to GeoHot and Anonymous.
  • [351852] High CVE-2014-1710: Memory corruption in GPU command buffer. Credit to Pinkie Pie.
  • [352374] High CVE-2014-1713: Use-after-free in bindings. Credit to VUPEN.

Chrome for Android Update

The Chrome Team is excited to announce the release of Chrome 32 for Android. Chrome 32.0.1700.99 will be available in Google Play over the next few days. This release contains a number of new features including:
  • Add web page shortcuts right to your home screen more easily from the menu
  • Reduce data usage in Chrome up to 50%. Visit Settings > Bandwidth management > Reduce data usage to enable.
  • Stability and security updates
  • Lots of stability and performance enhancements.

Chrome for Android Update

The Chrome Team is excited to announce the promotion of Chrome 31 to the Stable channel for Android users. Chrome 31.0.1650.59, which will be will be available in Google Play over the next few days, contains a number of new features including:

Chrome for Android Update

The Chrome Team is excited to announce the promotion of Chrome 30 to the Stable channel for Android users. Chrome 30.0.1599.82, which will be will be available in Google Play over the next few days, contains a number of new features including:
  • Updated swiping gestures
    • Swipe horizontally across the top toolbar to quickly switch tabs.
    • Drag vertically down from the toolbar to enter into the tab switcher view. 
    • Drag down from the menu to open the menu and select the item you want without having to lift your finger.
  • Faster searching when going from the Google Search app to Chrome
  • Improved Password Sync
  • Search by image on long press
  • Many other improvements

Chrome for Android Update

The Chrome team is excited to announce the promotion of Chrome 28 to the Stable channel. Chrome for Android 28.0.1500.64 contains a number of new features including:
  • Google Translate - When reading web pages in other languages, Chrome will automatically detect and offer to translate them to your language
  • Fullscreen on tablets - Similar to phones, simply scroll down the page and the toolbar will disappear.
  • New user interface for right-to-left (RTL) languages - An optimized interface for RTL languages including Arabic, Farsi, and Hebrew

Chrome for Android Update

The Chrome team is excited to announce the promotion of Chrome 27 to the Stable channel. Chrome for Android 27.0.1453.90 contains a number of improvments including:
  • Fullscreen on phones - Scroll down the page and the toolbar will disappear.
  • Simpler searching - Searching from the omnibox will keep your search query visible in the omnibox, making it easier to edit, and show more on your search result page.
  • Client-side certificate support - You can now access sites that require you to use a certificate and Chrome will allow you to select an installed certificate
  • Tab history on tablets - Long press the browser back button to view your tab history
  • And a ton of stability and performance fixes

Chrome for Android Stable Channel Update

The Chrome team is excited to announce the promotion of Chrome 26 to the Stable channel for Android. This update will be rolling out to Google Play over the next few hours.  Chrome for Android 26.0.1410.58 contains a number of updates including:

  • Autofill Sync
  • Fixed issue where blank page would be loaded rather than URL

Chrome for Android Update

Chrome for Android Stable Channel has been updated to 25.0.1364.169. This version is currently rolling out to Google Play over the next few hours.

This update improves font clarity and includes other stability fixes. Known issues are available on the Chrome support site.
