CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING
Our seasoned, professional staff of technicians and field engineers monitors grading and other earthwork operations to document conformance to the recommendations provided in our geotechnical reports. Nuclear and sand cone methods are utilized for compaction testing.
Concrete Testing

Concrete compressive strength testing, as well as mortar and grout, are provide for construction projects for structures utilized in developments of commercial and industrial buildings.
Asphalt Testing
Our technicians observe the placement of asphalt and retrieve samples to provide asphalt content, gradation and density. Density testing is performed using nuclear density gages and asphalt cores.
Soil Characteristics
We maintain a soil mechanics laboratory offering timely, quality results. Professional engineers supervise all laboratory testing including classification, expansion (FHA and Swell/Consolidation), gradation, compaction, consolidation, moisture/density, Atterberg limits, CBR and pavement design criteria.

Special Inspections
We provide special inspections for foundations, steel reinforcing layout, concrete placement, and masonry. Emphasis is placed on project schedule by providing structural and geotechnical support to the field technicians and engineers for timely, accurate observations in the field.
Septic Designs/Inspections

When not on city or county sewer, it is required that a septic leach field is installed to service each individual structure. Designing the proper size and style requires knowledge and experience in the area of understanding the local health regulations, and is dependent on the soil properties of your site. We offer Percolation Testing services to properly determine what design of septic system is required. We have designed over seven hundred septic systems all over Colorado. Along with designing systems, we feel that it is very important to educate owners and builders about maintaining and operating a septic system.
