January 4 Second-term courses begin and full-term courses resume
January 15 No registrations or changes after this date for second-term Envision courses.
January 29 If you withdraw from a full-term course after this date, you will receive an “F.”
January 29 Last day to apply for graduation for Spring Convocation 2016
February 11 Midterm exams when applicable for Envision second-term courses
February 15 Family Day. - University is closed
February 15 to 21 Winter Study Week
February 26 If you withdraw from a second-term course after this date, you will receive an “F.”
March 25 Good Friday - University is closed
March 28 Easter Monday - University is closed
April 1 Second-term and full-term Envision courses end
April 4 - 29 Final exams for second-term and full-term Envision courses
May 29 - June 3 Spring Convocation 2016

to April 25 Registration for Spring Session courses. A late registration fee will apply after this date.
April 26 to May 7 Late registration and course change period.
May 2, Monday Spring Session classes begin.
May 6, Friday No Spring Session registrations or course changes for firstterm and full-term courses permitted after this date.
May 17, Tuesday Senate meeting.
May 23, Monday Victoria Day - University is closed.
May 26, Thursday Students withdrawing from Spring Session first-term courses after this date will receive an "F" on their academic record.

The method of determining final grades for the Spring Session first-term and full-term courses must be submitted to, and approved by the Department Chairs/School Directors and the Dean prior to this date.
June 3, Friday Final examination questionnaires for Spring Session firstterm courses must be submitted by the academic units to the Office of the Registrar prior to this date.
June 10 & 11 Final examinations for Spring Session first term courses Friday and Saturday and mid-term examinations for distance education courses.
June 13, Monday Second-term courses begin.
June 16, Thursday Students withdrawing from Spring Session full-term courses after this date will receive an "F" on their academic record.
June 17, Friday No Spring Session registrations or course changes for second-term courses permitted after this date.
June 21, Tuesday Senate meeting.
July 1, Friday Canada Day holiday – University closed.
July 4, Monday Submission of final grades for first-term courses.
July 7, Thursday Students withdrawing from Spring Session second-term courses after this date will receive an "F" on their academic record.

The method of determining final grades for Spring Session second-term courses must be submitted to, and approved by Department Chairs/School Directors and the Dean prior to this date.
July 15, Friday Final examination questionnaires for Spring Session second-term and full-term courses must be submitted by the academic units to the Office of the Registrar prior to this date.
July 21, Thursday Spring Session classes end.
July 22 & 23 Final examinations for Spring Session courses (on-campus Friday and Saturday courses).
July 27 to 31 Final examinations for distance education courses.
August 1, Monday Civic Holiday.
August 5 to 14 Submission of final grades for Spring Session courses
August 26, Friday Applications for graduation at the Fall Convocation must be submitted prior to this date.

Revised grades or approved extension dates for students assessed an Incomplete ("I") in Spring Session courses must be submitted by Department Chairs/School Directors to the Office of the Registrar prior to this date.

If revised grades or approved extension dates have not been submitted prior to this date, an automatic "F" will be recorded on the student's academic record.
October 29, Saturday Fall Convocation.

September 7, Wednesday Winter Session classes begin.
September 7 to 16 Late registration and course change period.

October 7, Friday Revisions to the method of determining final grades for first-term courses must be submitted to, and approved by Department Chairs/School Directors and the Dean prior to this date.
October 10 Thanksgiving Day – University closed.
October 10 to 14 Fall Study Week
October 18, Tuesday Senate meeting.
October 29, Saturday Fall Convocation.
November 7, Monday Students withdrawing from first-term courses after this date will receive an "F" on their academic record.
November 15, Tuesday Senate meeting.
November 25, Friday Examination questionnaires for first-term courses must be submitted by the academic units to the Office of the Registrar prior to this date.

Questionnaires for mid-term tests scheduled by the Office of the Registrar must be submitted by the Academic Units to the Office of the Registrar prior to this date.
December 6, Tuesday Last day of first-term classes.

Revisions to the method of determining grades for full-year courses to be submitted to, and approved by Department Chairs/School Directors and the Dean prior to this date.
December 8 to 23 Examination period for first-term courses and mid-term tests in full-year courses.
December 13, Tuesday Senate meeting.
December 20 to January 6 Submission of final grades for first-term courses.
