Laurentian Bookstore

Visit the Bookstore in person or buy your books online to avoid the First Day of Class rush! Go to the Laurentian Bookstore website to see how easy it is to get your books online.

The Bookstore will help you find your books so be sure to have your course list handy when you’re shopping for textbooks.

TechHub

Get your hands on the latest technologies or get the TechHub crew to help you with the gear you already own. This team of tech-experts has what you need in terms of new toys, computers, gadgets and tools and has the know-how to fix any computer issue that may have you stumped. Student Card

First Year Students

Your student card is your passport to everything Laurentian. You’ll use it to get into residence, use the photocopiers, access the Athletic Centre, take out books from the J.N. Desmarais Library, board the city bus and get into the Fresh Food Company.

Returning Students

Please note that you are not required to update or validate your student card. To replace a lost student card, please go to the J.N. Desmarais Library.

Lockers

Lockers are available for rent at the Registrar's Office on the first floor of the R.D. Parker Building during regular office hours at a cost of $25. Come reserve yours today!

Get everything you need to succeed in your classes and look great doing it! The Bear Essentials, The Depot and the LSU have what you’re looking for when it comes to school supplies, electronics, Laurentian gear and textbooks.

The Depot

Your stop for your textbooks.

Your booklist will be sent to your LU Mail account. Have that list handy when you head to The Depot to get your books.

If you are taking an online course, get your booklist from the Continuing Education website then purchase your books online at the Laurentian Bookstore website .

Bear Essentials

Fill your backpack with electronics and supplies by stopping by the Bear Essentials. The team of experts at Bear Essentials can help you find the tools you need and can even help you with equipment you already own.

The Laurentian Students’ Union (LSU)

Student Cards

To grant you full access to your services and benefits, you will need two student photo IDs:

Laurentian Student Card

You can come to room C-303 between 10 am and 12 pm to have your photo taken. The printing/processing of the card will take 1 or 2 days at which point you can return to C-303 to pick it up.

Please bring a valid piece of government ID to pick up your card.

Georgian Student Card

After you have taken your photo for your Laurentian Student Card, processing of your Georgian Student Card will take 1 week at which point you can return to C-303 to pick it up.

Please bring a valid piece of government ID to pick up the card.

Lockers

You can get rent your locker from Bear Essentials and The Depot as of the first day of class. Check out the details on the Georgian Stores website .
