Focused crawls are collections of frequently-updated webcrawl data from narrow (as opposed to broad or wide) web crawls, often focused on a single domain or subdomain.
What’s New: We’ve updated our pregnancy tracker’s week and day information to match the way we describe it on your What To Expect iPhone, iPad or Android apps. Don’t worry, you don’t need to change your due date or any settings; Alexa will do that for you! To understand how pregnancy tracking works, as well as what the Alexa skill can do, check out the Alexa article on the WhatToExpect.com homepage.
What To Expect for Alexa guides you through pregnancy day-by-day and week-by-week. Just ask Alexa What To Expect every day, and you’ll get exciting updates about your pregnancy or newborn, plus all-new, useful tips to feel prepared and in control – helping you achieve a happy, healthy pregnancy.
Based on the information that you provide, What To Expect uses your due date or your child’s birth date to provide personalized daily tips and updates. You can update this information at any time. What to Expect currently supports pregnancy and the first year after your baby’s birth. The What To Expect skill is complementary to your mobile app, so Daily Tips and Updates may be new or different from the mobile experience. For more information from fertility to your growing family (and all the milestones in between!) visit www.whattoexpect.com, or search for “What To Expect” in the App Store or Google Play.
To get started, enable the skill and tell Alexa your due date or child’s birth date.
For babies less than one year old you can ask: * Alexa, open What to Expect * Alexa, ask What to Expect for my daily tip * Alexa, ask What to Expect when was my baby born * Alexa, ask What to Expect to update my baby’s birth date to (month, day, and year)
If you are pregnant you can ask: * Alexa, open What to Expect *Alexa, ask What to Expect for my daily tip *Alexa, ask What to Expect for my pregnancy update *Alexa, tell What to Expect my baby has arrived * Alexa, ask What to Expect to update my due date to (month, day, and year) * Alexa, ask What to Expect when my baby is due
REVIEW UPDATE: Lowered by two stars. Why you ask? Advertising now inserted into the "daily tips". To us, this makes this part of the skill now useless (since we do not want to hear a commercial blaring across our kitchen while drinking morning coffee). I guess it isn't the biggest deal since the "daily tip" is usually something frightening that I am also not in the mood to hear in the first place. So, long story short.. the "daily updates" are good,, SKIP THE "DAILY TIPS".. unless you like umbilical cord commercials everyday. If they add advertising to the "daily tips" we will stop using the skill all together and come back to leave it one star. REMOVE THE ADS, you RUINED half of a good skill.
We have been using it all pregnancy long, and we love it. It's one of out favorite things to do together, ask Alexa for our baby update! If you are having a baby, activate this skill. We like it MUCH BETTER than "My Pregnancy" (only gives weekly updates).. this skill changes every day of the pregnancy.
To be frank I was kind of scared to get this app due to so many negative reviews. I tried a couple other and was not satisfied with those so gave it a try. I am really impressed, this is a great app providing enough details to understand the phase u are in. Additionally my due date and weeks are a complete match with my doctor. As per a working mom I guess it has enough details to educate me and not overwhelm me, so full 5 rating. I like the tips section too, just a little something fun to add to pregnancy update. Love it, I am waiting for any more update to explore more features but whatever is there seems to be suffice.
Wow, love this! The content is informative, but has my wife and I laughing half of the time! Would love to see them add contraction tracker for labor, some baby name ideas, and diaper/feeding tracker for after baby is born.
