TEL AVIV, October 27. /TASS/. Syria and Iran are behind the overnight attacks on Israel from the side of Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) spokesperson twitted on Saturday.
"The Assad regime and Iranian Quds Force are behind the Islamic Jihad rocket attack on Israel. Hamas is responsible for everything transpiring in Gaza and emanates from it and will bear the consequences for the terror it seeks to inflict upon Israeli civilians," the IDF said.
As reported earlier at least 30 missiles were fired into the Israeli territory from the side of the Gaza Strip overnight into Saturday, while the Israel Defense Forces struck 80 targets in response. Missile attacks from the Gaza Strip continued on Saturday, the military said.
