Get your art supplies ready—our annual Art Contests are open now! Enter your art in our Badge and Cover contest to see your art on display on our badges and booklets throughout Setsucon 2019. Our Art Contest theme for 2019 is "Spooky Superstitions", so keep an eye out for the yōkai and get your lucky cats ready. Art Contests run until December 9, 2019.

The Curtain Has Risen For Cosplay
Registration for Hall Cosplay Contest and Masquerade are now open for Setsucon 2019! If you've made your own incredible costume, sign up for Hall Cosplay Contest and get feedback from a panel of veteran cosplayers. If you're interested in performing a skit, whether it be dancing or comedy, sign up for Masquerade; you can compete by yourself or as a group. Make sure to refer to the respective pages to look over the rules for each event and the updated cosplay policy. We look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Looking to send in your Pre-Reg via snail mail? You are in luck as Mail-In Pre-Registration is now open! The registration form is available on our Registration Page. Just fill out the form, print, and mail it in with your registration fee – it's that simple!
The deadline for mail-in is November 30, 2018 (postmarked by date), although Online Pre-Registration will stay open through January 11, 2019. Pre-Reg Badges are still just $25 for the whole weekend!

Get Ready – Setsucon Pre-Reg Opens THIS Wednesday!
We will be opening our online pre-registration on June 6th, with weekend pre-reg badges still only $25. For 2019, we have a few registration policy changes to note:
- Parental Consent & Chaperone Forms are now only one form.
- The new filled out Parental Consent form MUST be brought with you to the convention; we will no longer be accepting them ahead of time.
- Mail-In Pre-Reg will be opening in the Fall.

Now that we have finally found our way out of the wormhole and have returned to this reality, we want to thank everyone who came out and made Setsucon 2018 so special! Over 1,200 people helped fill our halls with so much energy, making our first year in Altoona a great one!
Also, a special thank you to all those who participated in our Silent Auction! We raised over $1200 to assist voice actor Christopher Ayres in his fight with C.O.P.D.

Setsucon 2018 is excited to announce Charles Dunbar as a guest in this year's lineup. Charles is an anthropologist who studies all things related to anime and fandoms. He is also the founder of Study of Anime, which strives to educate and illuminate the subtleties of Japanese culture and anime for hungry fans.

Guest Panel Changes:
Though, Richard and Ellyn Stern Epcar are unable to make it out to Setsucon 2014 this year, they have decided to host a Q&A; panel via Skype! The Q&A; panel will be held at 8pm-9pm in Panels room 1!
Alexis Tipton Scary Story panel, feat. Leah Clark is now scheduled for 9:30pm to 10:30pm in Panels room 1!
