Daniel Taylor is the chief football writer for the Guardian and the Observer and has been named Football Journalist of the Year by the Sports Journalists’ Association for the last three years. Daniel also won the Sports Journalist and News Reporter awards at the 2016 British Press Awards to recognise his work uncovering football's sexual abuse scandal. He joined the Guardian in 2000 and has written five football books.
