I noticed that on almost all programming CPB is listed as a major contributor... The PBS stations br...oadcasting on digital, the government mandated signal for people who choose or cannot afford to get satellite or cable TV, are typically not very reliable! I have averaged 8-12 calls per week advising them of "dead air" or no signal situations in my area... Miraculously, during membership drives, their signal strength is strong... I think my next call should be to my senators and congressmen... Weather conditions are not a factor. I'm gad I didnt join up! Love many of the programs on WXEL, PBS South Fl, World and Kids TV... But can't stand the intermittent signal strength in Vero Beach, Fl. Tell 44-1, -2, -3, and -4 to fix i or lose their funding! See More

Cooks country is not worth watching anymore. The 2 women just don't have it. We turn it off when the...y come on. It use to be our favorite.
The other is the blonde woman and her 2 girls traveling. A total waste of time.
Thank you for reading. Maybe these can be improved or replaced.

CPB is grateful for public media station WUFT News and their partner Florida Storms (FPREN) for their work delivering timely emergency information and support to citizens in Florida and the Carolinas in advance of Hurricane #Dorian. Thanks for being an example of how #pubmedia stations stand ready to help in response to community needs, and the importance of local journalism.

#Pubmedia stations are gearing up for #CountryMusicPBS with special events about local contributions to the American genre. WUOT 91.9 FM, Knoxville commissioned local musicians Mic Harrison And The High Score and Trisha Gene Brady to write songs about Knoxville. On September 6, they will perform their new works at a free concert presenting the history of country music in Knoxville. Listeners can catch the live broadcast on both WUOT and WDVX public radio. Here's a preview of a new song.
